Lunch Seminars
Area residents are taking advantage of a new way to learn about various
healthcare topics by attending a new series of free seminars hosted by West
Branch Regional Medical Center. The seminars, entitled the brown bag lunch series,
puts physicians in front of audiences to talk about specific health-related
topics. The seminars are held at the medical center at lunchtime and are designed
to accommodate even the busy professional’s schedule.
The following seminars have been scheduled:
Wednesday, June 4, noon to 1 p.m., Mary Prudhomme, RN, CHPH, of Hospice of Helping Hands, will present "Alzheimers and Dementia." The seminar is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Sally Ann Sippl at (989) 343-1792.
Health
and Wellness Screenings
Various health screenings are held at the medical center to help
promote wellness. The following events have been scheduled:

CPR Training / First
Aid
Through a unique partnership with
the American Red Cross, West Branch Regional Medical Center has brought community
education and training back to its campus. Classes are now offered at the medical
center in first aid, Certified Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Babysitter's
Training. If you would like more information about the classes, including dates,
