Seton Cancer Institute

In 1999, West Branch Regional Medical Center, the Medical Arts Center and Saginaw St. Mary’s entered into a long-term partnership to provide cancer care for patients in the region. From that partnership emerged the Seton Cancer Institute – West Branch, a complete cancer care center committed to providing cancer patients with clinical excellence and compassionate care.

The 32,000 square foot institute (shown here on the left side of the photo), connected to the medical center via a corridor on the second floor, is a comprehensive radiation and oncology cancer treatment center. No longer must area cancer patients make the long drive to Saginaw for cancer care.

Oncology Services

Radiation Oncologists Young Kim, M.D. and Khurshid Ahmad, M.D. currently oversee radiation services at the West Branch campus. Shabbir Ahmed, M.D., is the medical director of Medical Oncology.
